On their sophomore album, Slam Dunk, a quintet from Victoria, British Columbia, play rambunctious rock with a chaotic and spontaneous sound that pulls from a wide variety of influences. The music is catchy enough to be pop, frantic enough to be punk, and a lineup that most resembles ‘50s rock. The band combines fuzzed out guitars and saxophone with brash drums and bass. Their sheer enjoyment comes across on every track.
