Palindrome Hunches is the 3rd solo album from Neil Halstead, the frontman of former shoegaze band Slowdive and the alt country Mojave 3. On this album, like Oh! Mighty Engine and Sleeping on Roads, Halstead’s halcyon vocals are accompanied by classical and folk instrumentation. The resonant melodies are backed by a symphonious blend of acoustic guitar, piano, and strings. Halstead continues to make some of the catchiest and most relaxing music.
