Jason Collett has released a handful of solo albums and been a prominent member of Broken Social Scene. Reckon, his latest solo offering, was inspired by the same economic inequities that created the Occupy Wall Street movement. The songs are linked with a theme of loss – hearts broken, saving dwindled, businesses closing, and jobs needed. Collett sings with a swooping drawl and embalms these songs in catchy, folk rock.

The deluxe version of the album includes a second disc that is a compilation from Collett’s previous solo albums.
