River City Tanlines is a trio from Memphis fronted by guitarist Alicja Trout, who has been in a handful of other band including Lost Sounds with Jay Reatard and The Clears. Coast to Coast, River City Tanlines’ first album in 6 years, is a batch of catchy garage rock. None of the songs are too aggressive or too slow burning. It’s just straight rock and roll and sounds like it was recorded live or with minimal overdubs.
