This is the official second album from the guitar-drum duo from Vancouver, Canada, after 2009’s Post-Nothing and a cohabited release of their first two EPs as No Singles. Each song on Celebration Rock was recorded live in the studio with no overdubs or additional tracking. A raucous energy is caught on every track as the infrangible sound of the distorted guitar, clean but aggressive drums, and exulting yowl of vocals lives up to album’s title of Celebration Rock.
