Robert Pollard has always been a prolific musician. But it’s still a surprise that Guided By Voices returns with their second album of the year, after January’s Let’s Go Eat the Factory, after an eight year break and a fifteen year hiatus of this classic lineup. Most of the twenty-one songs on this album are short and sweet. The band’s quick and catchy style blisters through the 40 minutes of music.
