Best Coast’s sophomore album, The Only Place, is a batch of saccharine soaked songs. This album, produced by Jon Brion, is a more polished affair than the duo’s debut album, 2010’s Crazy For You. Bethany Cosentino’s voice sounds bigger here and the guitars jangle more. It’s a clear and precise pop album.
