Gotye is the nom de musique of Wally De Backer, who is part of the Australian rock band The Basics. Making Mirrors, his third full-length Gotye album, was released in other countries in 2011, but it gets an official US release this week. Recorded and produce by De Backer, the album moves across many genres but is mainly a diverse set of synth and guitar pop.
