For their second full-length album, The Devil Whale created an opus of layered, catchy pop. The quintet put down tracks of guitars, keyboards, and vocal harmonies. These sound like 60s or 70s pop produced in modern times. On top of that, the lyrics by singer Briton Jones are entertaining and original.
