With their third album, Arcade Fire continues to prove they can do no wrong. This album is more subdued than their previous releases, but that aesthetic fits the band’s impression of the suburbs. It sounds less dramatic, but equally as catchy and powerful, as Funeral and Neon Bible.

Six years after their debut album, Autolux has released a follow-up that is full of elastic fuzz. The trio’s vocals sublimely roll over music that volleys between assuaging warmth and a grandiloquent noise.

I just listened to David Dondero's # Zero with a Bullet and wish I heard back when I was making this post. It would have definitely made the list of suggested new releases.
